What to Do In Xcaret Park?

At Xcaret, you and your family can enjoy several natural and cultural attractions across the whole park inspired by Mexican culture. Adventure seekers can try out the snorkelling and natural pools near the beach with crystal-clear waters. Cultural activities lovers will be delighted with ancient Mayan sites and traditional Mexican shows in the evenings every night. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy a bit of the Mayan culture there.

You can also explore through mesmerizing underground rivers, dip in many beautiful cenotes, and observe exotic birds at the Aviary or colourful fish from the Coral Reef Aquarium. Visitors can also marvel at the incredible wildlife found in the Butterfly Pavilion before sitting back at night for an awe-inspiring show of pre-Hispanic ruins performed by Xcaret’s staff for their México Espectacular presentation.

For those interested in exploring nature and the environment, Xcaret Park offers a unique “Xenotes” tour, which includes water activities, where visitors can explore the underground rivers (at extra cost). The whole experience is completed by its incredible wildlife habitats and botanical gardens, which makes it an excellent opportunity to observe animals in their habitat. Likewise, visitors can swim within lagoons surrounded by mangroves and admire coral reefs close up.

For foodies, Xcaret Parks offer traditional Mexican dishes along with international cuisine, whether you’re after street snacks, lunch buffet or fine-dining restaurants.

However, if you want to explore archaeological sites, Tulum could be an optional activity for you departing from Playa del Carmen or Cancun.
